Business Travel - What Its All About
Since the beginning of time there has been an unwritten code in air travel, the better the seat, the higher the cost. Starting with the Wright Brothers in 1912 and ever since then there has been social classes in the air just as there are on the ground.
These of course are known to us all as first class travel, business travel and economy. First class and business class are respectively the two higher ones providing you with rich comfort, expensive drinks and other luxuries which simply are unattainable in economy.
Some of these luxuries not only include a more attractive cabin crew (just kidding) but just a more generally relaxed and spacious atmosphere. You've got more room to really stretch out your legs, less children screaming and yelling and of course, super comfy chairs.
Doesn't business travel sound like a pie in the sky dream? And usually it is, because business travel can be quite expensive, especially when compared to an economy ticket but this isn't always the case. Sometimes business travel can be had for less than you thought, it's always worth asking at the check in desk for an upgrade. After all, what's the worst that could happen?
The benefits of business travel include delicious gourmet meals, comfortable pillows, personal screens and access to a large variety of internet, movies and newspapers. Business travel is without a doubt the only way to go. The problem though of course is simple, business travel costs business money and most of us simply can't afford to be paying such outrageous rates for airlines. This is precisely why most people end up suffering by settling for economy.
Of course everyone loves business travel, it's comfy and you don't feel like a sardine in a tin after leaving the plane. Nope, in fact usually they offer you fresh hot face masks so you actually leave feeling new and fresh - ready to tackle that critical sales meeting.
For someone who doesn't enjoy spending time away from the family business travel can definitely change that for you. You should try it out and see if it does the trick, it definitely triumphs over economy but for some the extra cash just might not be worth the lifestyle.
So, final words of wisdom? If you've got the money upgrade to business class, actually if you get lucky enough they'll upgrade you automatically if not enough people are riding all ready, other than that always keep your eyes on the prize - namely ahead, because that's where business class is located!
